My goal this year is to be more relaxed.
To let things go and to enjoy the moment.
This is no easy task for this super type-A mama.
I have decided that habits are the way to go for me.
When I have certain things that I know will happen on auto-pilot, it frees up space in my mind to be more at ease.
Each month I will work on four daily habits. My big goal is for each one to be on auto-pilot by the end of the month.
My Four Habits for January
#1: Make the bed each morning
A made bed just finishes the morning.
It makes the room so much tidier, and the pillows are off the floor.
This is also a habit that I want to instill in my children.
#2: Take my supplements at each meal
I am on a strict supplement regimen right now as I work on being healed from adrenal fatigue and a severe hormone crash after having my five children.
I have supplements to take each meal.
#3: Eat breakfast every morning
This is a big one for me.
My goal is to sit down every morning and eat breakfast.
Breakfast is the time I read my Bible and read the kid’s devotions.
#4: Unload the dishwasher each morning
Since I started following the Flylady routines, I run the dishwasher every evening and unload every morning.
My kids rotate and have dishwasher duty as their chore for the week.
Stay tuned as each month I provide more habits for you to try and put on auto pilot in your own life.
