When our family switched to a Paleo lifestyle filled with real foods, the packaged foods were no longer a part of our shopping cart.
This meant no more cereal boxes. My kids were sad about this, but honestly, my husband was the most distraught.
I knew that in order to get everyone on board with this healthy lifestyle, I was going to need some good ideas to keep everybody from rioting.
This is what we found!!
Breakfast is literally breaking the fast.
For kids, breakfast is very important.
Skipping breakfast can make kids feel tired, restless, or irritable. In the morning, their bodies need to refuel for the day ahead after going without food for 8 to 12 hours during sleep. Their mood and energy can drop by midmorning if they don’t eat at least a small morning meal. KidsHealth.org
