October, November, and December are such a whirlwind.
It is so easy to get caught up in the busyness, the treats, the gifts, the parties.
None of this is wrong, but I truly think we need to be sure we are reaching our children’s hearts.
Moms, if we do not have a plan, our kids are going to get caught up in the holiday.
And MISS THE ENTIRE MEANING.
So we need a plan, a path, a way for us all to keep our hearts in the holiday.
I have created a plan to keep the heart in the holidays.
Here are 5 ways for each holiday to keep you and your kids’ hearts in Halloween.
(Looking for the giveaway hop…find it below these 5 ways!)
Keeping the Heart in Halloween
#1 GRAB THE LOVE LETTER SERIES
This series will have you covered for all three holidays. Books can really help that message hit home.
And these are my favorite. Author Soraya Diase Coffelt did an amazing job with these books.
So before you go a step further, add these to your Amazon cart. One or all three – you cannot go wrong!
I love these books because they teach the history of Halloween. I knew none of the details from this book, and my kids were fascinated.
My kids have always had lots of questions about Halloween, and this book answered those questions!
This is my #1 Holiday Book Series by far. The paperback books are amazing quality and very affordable.
If you want to grab these books on Amazon, I am giving away a $15 Amazon gift card. ENTER NOW!
#2 TURN YOUR CARVING PUMPKIN TIME INTO A BIBLICAL LESSON
Since I am sure you are planning on carving a pumpkin anyway, take it one step further and use these adorable pumpkin prayer cards to turn the focus on Jesus.
Thank you The Crafty Classroom!
#3 MAKE HALLOWEEN AN ANNUAL SERVE NIGHT AS A FAMILY
Get to know your neighbors by serving your neighbors hot dogs and chili on Halloween night.
Hosting a night like this is a great way to get your kids serving others and putting others needs first.
Grab some wholesale hot dogs and buns, and make some chili.
Invite your neighbors and start serving!
Win the Amazon gift card to buy supplies!
#4 USE THIS PRINTABLE AS A PRAYER OVER YOUR CHILDREN
If you have children who are afraid of Halloween or ghosts or goblins, this is a beautiful prayer and reminder for your children.
Thank you Liberty Layouts!
#5 USE A BIBLE VERSE STICKER FOR YOUR TRICK OR TREAT CANDY
Add a little verse and homemade touch to that candy.
Thank you Celebrating Holidays!
