I love having a good plan. I decided to write down exactly how I plan for the week ahead.
Disclaimer: There are times when I feel like I have everything all together.
And then just a few hours later, it is all coming apart.
Motherhood is hard. There is never a straight path to our destination. There are tons of detours along the way.
These detours can be viewed as blessings when we have a plan.
This is my plan to keep up with life as things get crazy!!
I know this may seem like a lot, and I do not use everything every month.
It just depends on what is going on in our life, but these resources help keep it all together during the craziest of times!!
INTENTIONAL MOMS TOOLKIT
This toolkit has a wonderful Scripture study that I use daily.
Each week I write down the Scripture readings in my calendar.
But the toolkit has so much more. Each month is a different theme with tips on intentional living.
In addition, there is a full month of meals to make!!!
I love the Intentional Moms Toolkit.
Home Management Resources:
JOURNEY TO CLEAN
This calendar helps me decide what tasks I need to accomplish each month.
I print out the calendars and each week decide what needs to be done based on the tasks in the calendar.
MONTH OF MINIMAL
I am on the journey to becoming a minimalist. With 5 kids, this truly has been a challenge.
I wish I would have started years ago.
Each day of the week (except Sunday) I spend 15 minutes on the minimalist challenge.
CLEAN MAMA HOMEKEEPING SOCIETY
This clean mama knows her stuff!! I love her products so decided to try the Clean Mama Homekeeping Society.
Each month I receive printables from Clean Mama with a monthly cleaning schedule and a focus each month.
THE TACKLE YOUR CLUTTER CALENDAR
Maybe you really need some help with clutter!!
I have found an amazing resource that is only $2.95!!
It shows you exactly what to declutter each and every day.
MEMORY WORK FROM MERCYISNEW.COM
Each month we focus on a new hymn, verse, and poem.
I love the seasonal themes that Candace has put together HERE.
If you want more information on memory work in our homeschool, CLICK HERE TO SEE OUR MEMORY WORK BINDER.
30 DAY MARKETING PLAN
I am not that great at marketing so I went to the expert Jen Snyder.
I am using her 30 Day Marketing Plan to give me ideas for each day of the month.
I do not always complete this plan in 30 days, but I do my best to move forward with it.
SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT CALENDAR
My word this year is FOCUS.
I am all about focusing on the task at hand without getting distracted.
This content calendar is a HUGE HELP.
It gives me great ideas to post on social media without taking up a ton of time.
Putting It All Together
First, I print out the resources I need.
Then, I take my Living Well Spending Less Planner, and I get to work!
I just plan week by week. I write down what chores I hope to accomplish, what memory work we are working on, the blogging tasks I would like to work on, as well as the Scripture I want to read and study that week.
I have a reminder on my phone. I try to sit down around 4 pm on Saturday and plan for the week ahead.
As the week goes on, if I do not get to as a task, I circle it. Then, if time allows later in the week or on Saturday, I can go back and finish it!
I hope you will take some time to look at these resources.
They have been such an amazing help to me!
