As a mom, there are two aspects of the home that are constant: dishes and laundry.
I used to have a good handle on the two until our family kept growing.
With babies and homeschooling, I soon found that keeping up with the dishes and laundry for our family of 7 was not so simple anymore.
I have learned over the years that if you can stay on top of the laundry and the dishes, then the rest is just icing on the cake!
Today I want to share with you two tips that have made all the difference in our home:
Watch the video here:
#1: A Laundry Rotation
It seemed I was always washing, drying, sorting, folding, and putting away.
UNTIL…I discovered this laundry routine.
This laundry routine is a super effective to stay on top of the piles of laundry.

#2: A Plan for the Dishes
Dishes pile up so fast.
While I ideally would never have a dirty dish out, this is not a reality.
I needed a plan to be sure I was working on dishes at an optimal time.
I needed to find out how to stay on top of the dishes without being a slave to the kitchen.
Ready for the plan?
I would highly encourage you to reevaluate how you are doing laundry and dishes in your home. By streamlining these two aspects of our household, I find that I am able to stay on top of the crazy piles.
