I started Faith Filled Parenting from a place of despair.
I had been through the hardest year of my life. It was filled with surgeries, health issues, depression, anxiety, and an overall sense of my whole world falling apart.
One night I dreamed of starting a blog. I wanted it to be a ministry. A way that I could share my heart and story with moms who might need a little bit of encouraging.
As I reflect on the first year of my writing, I look back and see some powerful posts and ideas that changed the course of my life.
I love reading, but I did not read hardly anything in 2016.
This year I have a plan. A book a week. I know I can do this and am so excited to get back into reading.
After my health issues in 2015, I spent most of 2016 figuring out how to find joy again. I had to find joy in all aspects of my life after a severe bout with depression.
I keep these 100 ways close to my heart to keep joy in parenting.
After trying chart after chart, system after system, I finally found something that works and is staying for good. This Mom Bucks System is perfect for having kids earn rewards. This is a great way to beat entitlement.
I have been watching the words that I say to my children, spouse, family, and friends.
These phrases are a great place to start when wanting to watch what you say.
I have a feisty, stubborn toddler. Baby #5 has made our family complete and crazy!
He is one of my most difficult children. So I regrouped and came up with this toddler challenge to encourage and inspire parents who are in the same toddler boat with me.
