Keeping toddlers and preschoolers busy can sometimes be a challenge.
My little ones seem to want my attention ALL. THE. TIME.
And I love playing with them! But there are times when the big kids need help with school work or meals must be prepared or work must be done.
Busy bags or boxes to the rescue.
My busy bag list is different from others because they are super simple to prepare. No painting popsicle sticks or dying noodles here. Most are FREE printables paired with a few inexpensive items from Amazon.
In fact, you do not have to even head to the store to make these busy bags. Amazon has got you covered!
Busy Bag Materials
Decide first how you want to store your busy bag materials.
I have found that both gallon bags and plastic containers work great.
Another tip: be sure your busy bags stay out of reach from little hands, and only bring them down when you need a little quiet time.
Finally, I highly recommend you use a laminator.
I have had this Scotch Thermal Laminator for almost 10 years, and it is well worth the $20 or so I spent on it.
I use it way more than I ever imagined!
Take a minute and scan through these Top 10 Busy Bags.
All are minimal prep, and I have included Amazon (affiliate) links to all the items I purchased to make these busy bags.

I had a great time creating these busy boxes for my two preschoolers. I rotate these busy boxes during our homeschool days to give my little ones some learning fun and keep them busy with fun activities.
