During our All About Me theme, I knew I wanted to teach my kids about bones.
But not being able to see bones can be confusing for our little ones.
I decided to approach this subject from the view of x-rays.
Ready to get started?
This adorable craft will teach your little one about x-rays.
Chase your child’s hand and arm onto the black construction paper with the white crayon.
Let them color in the hand.
My kids loved seeing the white crayon show up on the black.
Explain to your child that there are bones in their hand.
We are going to use q-tips to represent the bones.
I think the easiest way to do this is to make lines with the glue, and let your child place the q-tips on top.
This simple craft was one of my kids favorites from our All About Me Unit.
