When summer is here, it is time to bust out the sunscreen.
While I am a big believer in natural Vitamin D from the sun, I also come from a family history of skin cancer.
I take sunscreen seriously and have tried tons of brands.
With sensitive skin issues and concern about chemicals, I have been on the search for the best sunscreen out there.
These are my favorites.
#1 Beauty Counter Sunscreen
I can tell you that this sunscreen works and is safe.
We have used this brand for several years, and I wholeheartedly stand by it.
Here are my favorite Beauty Counter options:
Beauty Counter is my number one choice because of their commitment to only using safe ingredients.
This sunscreen also really works, provides full coverage, stays on while swimming, rubs in easily, and has a fresh clean smell. See why it is my favorite!!!!
#2: Kiss My Face Bare Naked Body Mist
If you have kids who hate the feel of sunscreen, this is the choice for you!
This spray feels like you are wearing no sunscreen (maybe that is why it is called bare naked!)
But it too provides great coverage and is a perfect option for the beach.
#3: Sun Bum Moisturizing Sunscreen Spray
For my son with sensitive skin, this is his favorite sunscreen.
It is hypoallergenic and moisturizing but in the form of a spray.
The smell is wonderful and the bottle design just makes me happy.
#4 Julep No Excuses Invisible Sunscreen Gel
I am sometimes guilty of forgetting to put my sunscreen on before my makeup.
This is the trick. This gel is truly invisible. Even over makeup. My kids also enjoy it because I do not have to spend a long time spreading it on their face.
This gel goes a long way and is a staple for the summer.
Until June 11th, you can get the Invisible Sunscreen for free with code SUNNY. Spend $30 and get this $28 sunscreen for absolutely FREE.
#5: Thinkbaby Safe Sunscreen
If you are looking for a sunscreen that is safe for baby this summer, this is the first baby sunscreen to meet Whole Foods strict standards.
It is also extremely water resistant with no harmful chemicals.
If you are taking a baby to the beach this summer, this is the sunscreen to pack for your trip.
Amazon is my favorite go-to source for sunscreen for the summer.
